Using a tanning mitt is recommended, but if you don't have one available, wash your hands and the skin around your nails thoroughly after application. For best results, apply to soft, smooth skin. To avoid patches, start at the lowest point of application, such as the ankle up. Apply to the skin and massage in thoroughly to achieve an even color. Where the tan ends, apply lightly and blend to avoid harsh edges. Reapply every 2-3 days to build and maintain your tan. Want to go darker? Take control of your tan by darkening it a few shades with daily application, improving the texture of your skin while deepening your tan. No need to rinse.
