Portugal's first soap factory was founded in 1887 by Ferdinand Claus and Georges Schweder, two German chemists living in Porto. Claus Porto was founded in 1887 by German businessmen Georges Schweder and Ferdinand Claus in Porto, Portugal. The vision was to create handcrafted soaps inspired by Portugal. Over four generations, the brand has maintained its authenticity and expertise in soaps, colognes, body care, candles, diffusers, and men's grooming. Claus Porto is distinguished by handcrafted, vintage-inspired labels from the brand's archive, which pay homage to the European Belle Époque and azulejos. Today, the brand is present in over 50 countries and in leading stores worldwide.

INSPIRED BY PORTUGAL

Claus Porto offers four unique collections, each reflecting the rich history and signature scents of Portugal. Deco Collection: Body wash, body lotions, hand creams, scented candles, and diffusers. Classico Collection: 16 soaps blended with pistachio seed and mango oil, along with various fragrances. Agua de Colonia Collection: Created after a tour of Portugal, it smells of pine forests, fresh sea breezes, oranges, and lemons. Musgo Real Collection: Specially formulated to ensure a moisturizing and close shave, it contains ingredients such as lanolin, shea butter, and walnut oil.
