Accessibility statement

This statement applies to the online shop very-beauty.com operated by Atout Cosmetics GmbH, Harderweg 2, 22549 Hamburg, Germany.

Description of the service

very-beauty.com is an online shop for cosmetics, skincare, fragrance and home products. You can search and filter products, view information on ingredients, usage and product safety, add products to the cart, order and pay online, and withdraw from a contract online.

Legal basis and standard

We design the shop in line with the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) and Directive (EU) 2019/882, based on the harmonised standard EN 301 549 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA.

Compliance status

The shop is largely accessible. In our last review on 22 October 2026 we implemented, among other things:

  • Sufficient colour contrast for prices, unit prices, filter and category navigation
  • Labelled buttons (e.g. slider arrows) and a logical heading structure
  • Keyboard operation of the quick view (“Quick Shop”)
  • Complete screen reader labels for the navigation
  • Accessible “Withdraw from contract” form

Known limitations

  • Some product images and texts are supplied by the brands. Image descriptions (alt texts) currently mostly match the product name and do not always describe the image in detail.
  • We can only partially influence some third-party content (e.g. payment services, cookie banner, wishlist).

On request, we will gladly provide content you cannot access in another form, e.g. by email or phone. You can also place your order by phone.

How the requirements are met

  • Responsive layout that can be zoomed up to 200% without loss of functionality
  • Structured headings, “Skip to content” link, labelled form fields
  • Keyboard operation of navigation, search, cart and checkout
  • Checkout via the Shopify checkout
  • Additional accessibility tool (icon at the bottom right) for font size, contrast and reading aids
