“The replenishing properties of Omega Shiso come from the shiso (perilla) oil extract which is rich in omega 3-6-9. Helping to restore the skin’s natural barrier, Omega Shiso is the perfect serum to use alongside Power D.” – Dr. Marko Lens, Founder.
Dermatologist tested. Suitable for all skin types.
- Restores a strong cutaneous barrier and strengthens the hydrolipidic film.
- Promotes skin moisture, elasticity and comfort.
Active Ingredients:
- Omega Shiso Complex: An exclusive complex obtained by an enzymatic activation of Shiso (Perilla) oil, which breaks up triglycerides into their constituents, fatty acids and glycerides, forming the richest vegan source of omega 3. Easily absorbed this lipid complex increases skin moisture, replenishes lost lipids, reinforces skin barrier function, soothes distressed skin and promotes skin elasticity and smoothness.
- Squaline: Derived from Mediterranean olive oil, this botanical ingredient mimics natural skin lipids. Replenishes moisture, prevents moisture loss and restores skin's suppleness. Squalane also acts as an antioxidant to help protect the skin from damaging free radicals.
- Vitamin F: A complex composed of polyunsaturated essential free fatty acids- linoleic acid and linolenic acid derived from safflower oil. Restores and reinforces lipid barrier function and prevents transdermal water loss (TEWL).
- Phospholipids: Major building components in the structure of cellular membranes. These natural, skin-identical ingredients demonstrate excellent moisturising, repairing and protective properties.
- Phytosterols: Lipids derived from soybeans (Glycine soja). Structurally similar to the skin’s natural lipids, these sterols moisturise skin, reduce water loss, strengthen natural barrier function and sooth the skin.
- Ceramide NS: A main component of the stratum corneum of the epidermis layer of human skin. Helps to repair the skin barrier function, improve skin hydration and reduce transepidermal water loss (TEWL). Leaves skin smooth, supple and moisturised.
- Beta-Sitosterol: One of several phytosterols (plant sterols) similar to cholesterol which occurs naturally in skin. Acts as emollient, anti-inflammatory and skin-soothing agent.
- Glycosphingolipids: A type of glycolipid, which is built on a ceramide lipid moiety. Improve barrier function and moisture retention.
- Inulin: A polysaccharide extracted from chicory roots. Supports the skin microbiome. Shows good moisturising and skin-conditioning properties.
- Vitamin E Acetate (Tocopheryl Acetate): An acetic acid ester of Vitamin E. Acts as a strong antioxidant, enhances moisturisation and strengthens the skin barrier.
- Glycerin: A vegetable-derived molecule naturally present in the skin. Acts an excellent humectant, a substance that attracts moisture from the environment and increases the amount of water in the surface layers of the skin.
- Trehalose: A naturally occurring saccharide with moisturising, skin-conditioning and protective properties.
- Lecithin: A vegetable-based phosphatidylcholine, a natural part of all cell membranes. Shows emollient, moisturising and smoothing properties.
- Gluconolactone: A naturally occurring polyhydroxy acid (PHA) with metal chelating, moisturising, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity.
